The antique clock at The Feathers says it’s ten to eight...permanently. It’s not, of course. Even in the Cotswolds market town of Woodstock, time waits for no man.

That’s why you’ll get a WiFi connection in the study, a designer bathroom in your ultra-chic, boutique-style room, and the tonic in your gin is made with hand-picked quinine from the Peruvian Andes. But the grandfather clock is still there, sturdy as an oak – just like our traditional approach to service.

Clock off. Wind down. Chill out. You’re in Woodstock.

Woodstock and Oxford are far enough from London to feel you’re ‘away’, or close enough to feel you’re nearly there. It just depends which direction you’re travelling.

And The Feathers is the perfect stopping-post, friendly, informal, but reassuringly permanent.
