Bastille Day celebrations at The Feathers got off to a fine start with fair weather, blue, white and red bunting adorning the hotels 16th centaury facade and courtyard garden. A tricolour hung above the arch, under which were delicious French produce, market style, with bread, cheese, fresh vegetables wine and a selection of cured meats to try. Also underneath the arch, Accordion player Dave Townsend delighted guests and passersby with live renditions of classic French folk music whilst Petanque was played on the gravel pitch.
